Nike Basketball x Fear Of God 1 Pack
NIKE BASKETBALL X FEAR OF GOD 1 PACK
TEAMWORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK
What we are witnessing right here is Nike's first collaboration with Jerry Lorenzo's Fear of God brand.
This intriguing development is the first time we have seen Nike Basketball reach out beyond the usual NBA signature model. This is a very positive move for the basketball arm of Nike as the wearability from a street style perspective has been largely disappointing from many of the Nike Basketball models since the Lebron 8.
The Nike Basketball line has become overly focused on court performance and lacks the style to that makes them street ready!
We applaud the sentiment from Fear of God founder and creative director Jerry Lorenzo. "It is a shoe that should only be judged by the emotion it gives the kid when he first sees it—however it makes him feel"
Lorenzo wants to tap into a certain element of nostalgia. Not so much about what was worn, but how it was worn. He wants to awaken a spirit he deems dormant, to remind of the power sport once had in defining style harking back to the golden era of Andre Agassi and of course Michael Jordan.
This masterpiece wasn't all Jerry Lorenzo, he was supported by Basketball supremo Leo Chang when fleshing out the ideation for this contemporary basketball release. Leo Chang is someone with a phenomenal desire, who understands innovation and performance at a high level and is uniquely capable of turn innovative ideas into a beautiful product.
Exciting times for Nike Basketball!
