The Beast Is Back In It's Natural Habitat...
So many avid Air Max fans out there will be ecstatic to see that these are making a return, some of you not so much, but I think either way you have to appreciate the bold and loud look they use, they don't hold back and don't try to follow any trends, they make their own waves.
The Beast was first seen back in 2006 when Nike & Atmos first released this wild collaboration, making a much-welcomed return in 2018, following the teaser release of the sought-after Atmos 'Elephant' back in 2017, which saw our first queue camping outside, as they had so much hype around them. Nike has stayed true to the original design keeping to its Retro heritage, but this time the Beast has received a slight adaptation to set itself apart from its older self.
So what's changed? Well, the toe-box isn't White anymore, it has a much sleeker black fur coating taking its place.
An exotic blend of wildlife adorns the upper taking you on a safari adventure, featuring Tiger across the flanks with Leopard dominating the mudguard, heel and parts of the toe-box. Zebra caresses the ankle whilst Cow subtly makes the tongue. The vibrant Red Swoosh creates a further standout appeal giving instant Nike recognition, hits of Green land within the air unit and embroidered Air branding on the heel. For such a loud looking sneaker they surprisingly work, the patterns clash but still blend together somehow.
Remember to watch the short film we created, placing the Beast in its natural habitat in the wild.
