Talking Shop - Overkill
BRINGING THE HEAT
STORY OF OVERKILL
Overkill is an outlier or even regarded as an outlaw back when Marc founded the business in the early days of sneaker culture in 2003.
Marc and the team have always had a very special take on what makes a great store and much of their inspiration comes from the early days of hip hop culture where graffiti was a creative outlet and expression for the community.
The guys continue to support the grass root fundamentals of hip hop and sneaker culture by not only stocking spray paints and marker pens alongside top-tier contemporary street fashion for both men and women.

THE SPACE
Occupying two adjoining retail spaces on KREUZBERG 36 in the heart of Berlin they have multiple floors of the hottest releases you will find anywhere in Europe. They carry top-tier and collaboration releases from all the major sportswear players such as Nike, adidas, The North Face, Carhartt WIP and Champion. They also carry their own in house and a self-titled clothing line with their trade mark 'Kiss My Airs' tote bag range. Everyone loves these!
Lets not forget one of their USP, the Graffiti department. Having personally spent some time in Berlin the street art scene is extremely important to the richness of the cities culture and an outlet to purchase brands like Molotov, Krink and Montana is key to the creative ecosystem of the city.

THE COLLABORATIONS
Marc and the team at Overkill remain very close to the communities that they serve, and even though they have reached the pinnacle of global recognition as a leading sneaker destination they still continue participate at grass root events like Sneakerness and this gives them a unique position to really get under the hood and find out what sneakerheads want. This insight means they deliver some of the best collaboration shoes each year, and we have pops some of our personal favourites in a slider right here for you to get hyped about.
