After almost 2 weeks of everybody we know telling us 'WATCH STRANGER THINGS', we finally gave in, and yes, it's worth the hype. Created by the Duffer brothers and set in 1980's Indiana, USA, Stranger Things throws homage to 80's pop culture and the works of Stephen Spielberg and George Lucas.
From start to finish, Stranger Things defines both the words captivating and gripping. Through some of the strongest storytelling we've seen in a while, this Netflix exclusive is 100% worth the amount of people talking about it. From the offset, each episode is like a movie, giving off the vibe that this is precisely what the Duffer brothers aimed to achieve.
It happens too often, a strong film/show is thrown off by poor child acting, with exceptions like 'Super 8' and Jeff Nichols 'Mud' however Stranger Things young cast manage to find that perfect balance of confidence and chemistry to give the series the strength it needs.
Without giving too much away, Stranger Things is weird and compelling with a hint of vintage, a perfect mix for you next series binge.
