The Cortez has been on the scene since the term 'Sneaker' was first coined. However, before the Cortez was a street staple, the model was originally designed as the official track shoe for the American runners in the 1972 Olympic games. In the 40+ years since, the Cortez has moved from strength to strength, progressing from stadiums to streets thanks to Nikes ability to adapt the minimalistic uppers with ease for modern tastes.

Here, the Cortez have been treated to a head turning, reptile textured upper makeover. Keeping the traction grooved gum outsole and the famous silhouette, but mixing things up the unique texture and aesthetic.
