Welcome to the fourth instalment of our 'Photograph of the Week' series, where we put the creative control in the hands of our resident photographer, Ant. After such a strong start to the series we plan on keeping the pace rolling week by week, so here is photograph number 4, a tonal on-the-foot shot of the Nike Air Presto 'Rio Teal'.
The context of this image is perseverance. When a shoot does not go to plan due to weather or time restrictions, Ant always has his eyes open for a plan B, which can appear totally out of the blue, like this one.
When out shooting the Rio Teal Presto, typical British weather stubbed our chances of getting some seasonal shots for this warmer-weather sneaker. While out exploring for a second location, Ant stumbled upon the pile of road work rubble used in the picture, and quickly got to work matching up the contrasting dull and vibrant tones for a very engaging shot.
The following day the rubble was gone, but he got the perfect shot.
