All you urbanites out there, this latest pack of Nike is going to be calling your name. Thanks to the latest re-adaptations of everyone's favourite Air Force and Lunar Force, but with a teched out Special Field aesthetic.
If you have been keeping up with our latest blog content you will know the Air Force is celebrating its 35th anniversary, which is a huge milestone for any sneaker. It shows they have stood the test of time and over the decades have become one of the most (if not the most) iconic styles in Nike's archives.
They have been readapted in many ways over the years, but the most recent has been possibly the notable. Inspired by the military, following the format of typical military boots with the specifications being stamped on the upper. The adjustable straps and dual-zip on the heel make for a unique closing system. The extended rope lacing further emphasises the militaristic style. A ballistic Nylon construction dominates whilst premium touches of leather offer a premium edge that keeps you dry, warm and secure whilst out in the treacherous streets.
The crisp Ibex White upper is perfect for the Winter for that iced out aesthetic. Hiding a subtle 3M White Camo detailing along the flanks which completely transforms the sneakers in the nighttime.
The seasonal changes are usually frowned upon by some people, but if you are prepared with the finest creps and gear then you can turn that frown upside down and enjoy the Winter. Nike consistently provides winter-ready options year in, year out. The Lunar Force 1 Duckboot is one of the best options available out there. With a much needed Watershield upper, matched with a warm lining offering a snug feeling, the outsole keeps you upright in slippery conditions with the increased traction with an emphasised lug pattern.
What model is more suited to you the High, Mid or Duckboot? The choice is yours.
