NBA All Star Weekend 2017

So another All-Star Weekend has passed, which leaves us all talking about what exciting stuff happened over the course of the event. So it was a tense game throughout with some nail-biting scenes and some magical moments which led to the highest scoring All-Star match of all time with 374 points being made overall. So let's take a look at what we at Soleheaven thought was interesting.

DJ Khaled obviously made an appearance on the court for the Slam Dunk contest where he assisted DeAndre Jordan with one of his dunks. He Snapchatted the experience of course, as how else would he have proved this moment happened apart from the 100's of cameras on him.

The Pelicans made a complete shock trade of Buddy Hield for DeMarcus Cousins which potentially upstaged the whole event, it took everyone by surprise but the Kings owner Vivek Ranadive has always been obsessed with the idea of a Steph Curry-like 3 point shooter being the King's main superstar (Stauskas? Anyone remember him?) so deemed the trade worthy of happening.

We found out that our beloved Kyrie Irving believes that the Earth is flat!?.... I know right?! Like has he not been on a plane before and seen the curvature?, the legend who has blessed us with many amazing on the court with his quick cuts and moves. As well as creating some iconic basketball sneakers, especially with his recent release of the Kyrie 3. He even believes that Dinosaurs don't exist, clearly, hasn't seen the Flintstones or Jurassic Park.

All players on the court were rocking their Black History Month models with Kyrie rocking his 3's, Lebron sporting his own 14's and Russel Westbrook sporting the Jordan 30.5 as he brought the 30's but didn't like the sole unit.

They are just a few of the standout moments for us, what stood out for you? Leave a comment below to let us know!
