Music For The Sole: West Coast Focus.

We're keeping it west-coast today, kicking things off with the latest BOMB from Compton born rapper YG, 'Still Brazy'. This record features track after track of G-Funk inspired, west-coast vibes through and through. Production values on this one are through the roof and YG's delivery is so tight. Highly recommended stuff.

To follow up YG's latest G-funk influenced record, we're looking back to what inspired the sound, with the 1994 CLASSIC 'Regulate...G-Funk Era' which was the debut studio album from the legendary Warren G. This iconic recording project has stood the test of time and is still a fantastic genre defining piece of work to this day.

While we're on the west-coast vibe, Dr Dre's 2001 is an undeniable king of the WC sound, and truly helped to shape the California sound into the new millennium.

This historical hip-hop album, just like G-Funk Era before this, is a genre defining piece of work, and help thrust Dr Dre back into the limelight after his 1992 solo album, 'The Chronic'.
