Music For The Sole! Release Round-up 26/2

We're back with another spotlight on some new releases, with albums and singles all around from some Soleheaven favourites, we've got Monday's covered for the office stereo!

Post Malone - Psycho (Feat. Ty Dolla $ign)

Everyone's favourite non-rapping rapper brings the follow up to smash hit single, Rockstar. It's a remarkably relaxed affair, with Post ghosting over a beat in the best way possible, providing a subdued, retrospective return to the rap game, with both Ty and Post providing an analysis on their riches and where they are in their lives, Ty flipping some of Post's bars to great effect. It's the first time these Gentlemen have hooked up on a track since Kanye's Fade, and we can confirm this is a banger.

Beach House - Lemon Glow

Ascending from Cult status to a near household name, the Baltimore duo Beach House have crafted their own distinctive Dreampop sound and aesthetic, with 2012's Bloom currently serving as the group's quintessential release. With the recent release of new single Lemon Glow and Tour announced for 2018, we can expect another masterpiece in atmospheric soundscapes, with this lead single wetting our synth appetite.

James Blake - If The Car Beside You Moves Ahead

English export James Blake has been making moves in front and behind the mic recently, with production credits on Jay-Z's 4.44 and Kendrick Lamar's Damn, plus his contributions to the latter's curated Black Panther soundtrack. Not one to leave us high and dry without any solo music, Blake has penned a masterpiece of ghostly proportions, taking his solo work back to a similar path seen on his debut album. Modulated vocals and a jazzy instrumental arrangement bring this smooth burner to boil.

Nicolas Jaar / A.A.L - 2012 - 2017

Elusive super producer Nicolas Jaar continues to confuse and dodge his supporter base with another usual collection of tracks released under his Against All Logic pseudonym. The mixture of funk and soul samples though provide the basis for the album, allowing the producer to lightly mess with structures and vocals to present the perfect get down record.  It's been 2 years since an official Nicolas Jaar album, but with releases like this, I'm sure we can wait a little longer.

Flatbush Zombies - Headstone

With their new album Vacation in Hell soon to drop, the three-piece have treat us to the first sample of debauchery to come from their new project. With helmed by group mastermind, Erick the Architect, if anything to go by this new release will be a typically rambunctious affair from the zombies!

Bishop Nehru - Rooftops

Underground purveyor Bishop Nehru is taking the elevator straight to the top with a new album produced exclusively by rap heavyweights MF DOOM and Kaytranada. First cut from the album, Rooftops, a typically smooth affair from the stoic Nehru, riding on a silky beat from everyone's favourite supervillain.
