After almost 5 years, the Nike engineers have finally pulled through with the sequel we've all been waiting for. The Roshe Two has already caught a lot of peoples attention in the run up to release thanks to Nike's preview shots glimpses at upcoming colour-ways.
The Roshe Run took the sneaker scene by storm when the minimalistic runner first hit shelves in 2012. The Zen-inspired sneaker is the brainchild of Nike designer Dylan Raasch, who was inspired by keeping things simple when he first drafted the sneaker. Nobody could have predicted the success of the Roshe, leading Nike to continue to innovate the template into 2016 with Hyperfuse and Flyknit technologies being adapted to further increase the adaptability of the Roshe.
Now, in 2016, the Nike teams have dropped the second form of the Roshe, drawing focus to the midsole and updating it further for increased reactivity in every step. Nike have also added a more 'elastic' fit to the collar of the Two, allowing the sneaker to adapt to the ankle for a more engaging fit, and increased comfort levels.
The Nike engineers have exceeded themselves with the Roshe Two, the entire upper offers a more tooled up, durable wear than its predecessor with tightly woven synthetic mesh uppers, forming a dual layered, super cushioned upper, with a perforated tongue to allow for air flow to the wearer's feet and pull tags for ease of access.
