One of Nikes most eye-catching silhouettes the Air Max Zero returns to our shelves in a Premium Pack. The Zero contains a strong Nike Heritage as it is in fact based on the original vision of the Air Max 1 before the Air Max 1. The sock-like upper acknowledges Tinker Hatfield's iconic design concept cushioned with a neoprene collar for maximising comfort. In terms of illustrated design, this was the first sneaker silhouette which debuted the visible midsole air compartment in the seventies, which launched on the Air Max 1 and became the most acknowledgeable Air Max icon.
The head turning Air Max Zero has received a unique makeover. There is a mix of materials on the uppers, including the lightweight hyper fuse panelling for a slick style and neoprene collar alongside the rubber outsole for durable traction and premium comfort. The first colourway portrayed by the sneaker is a Tumbled Grey covered upper and a woven mesh in Wolf Grey. The speckled midsole adds to the effortless colourway by complimenting the tonal upper, and a Melon Tint brings the bubble to life.
The second colourway flaunts an Armoury Navy shaded upper and a woven mesh in Black. The speckled midsole again highlights the colourway and an Industrial Blue adds a burst of energy to the bubble.
In my opinion, the Wolf Grey colourway stand out to me as I think the grey flecked midsole compliments the clean white backdrop exquisitely whilst adding a creative aesthetic to the overall style of the sneaker. The pop of melon in the air bubble has to claim the best colour of the shoe. This shoe would be the perfect smart casual hybrid for a warm weather day.
