Why British Classic on Yankee Classics?...what inspired the theme?

I wanted to do something very British, These two bands are for me Icons of the UK's hands down...So..That's that!

Wow, 100% hand painted!...How many hours did you put into the project?

Dunno yet , I'm not done yet! LOL...but I did put quite a few hours in just designing the concept,... I toyed around with the whole things for a while, before settling on The SexPistols/Clash theme....

Can you explain any of the Techiques you used or maybe the types of paint?

Well I used my beloved baby Mac. to do the overall map out and composition,...Then I transfer the whole image onto the sneak,...Then from there, it's all free hand painting.... I use Angelus Paints, they're the best product out there....Specially formulated to paint &polish leather goods.

Tell us about your 1st ever custom project?...were they wearable?

A pair of Phat farms kicks I custom with lil robots all over for my Kiddo, Solomon.... Very wearable, and since he's always my #1 fan, of course he wore them til they hurted his feet!..They don't fit him anymore, but we keep them anyways

Have you got anything big planned for 2009?

Definitely going to establish myself as a customizer full time. I'm working on a couple of shows/exhibits I'd like to have running by the fall.

Tell us a Secret?

Mmmmmh?... if I tell you ...Then it's not a secret anymore nah?....;o)

What is your favourite base sneaker to paint on?

The ADIDAS STANSMITH without a doubt!...Most uninterrupted canvas space of all sneaks out there....Not a stitch, overlay , nothing... just air holes...

Word on the street is you used to live in U.K.?....what brought you to the fair shores of England?

Yup,LOL...I went to England Thinking I'd stay there for a couple of months to polish my English on my way to college In the States,...Ended up dating someone for almost two years!....I loved it there...Although the weather was definitely the deal breaker for me!

We also heard your a bit of a musician, whats your genre?

Well...I did record a couple of tracks with different producers,...Under the moniker Miss Saigon also... But it's a carreer that is not that well suited for a single mom, so I revised my mode of expression to a more grounded option!!...Actually one of the producer I worked with in the past is sign to a British record Co. BBE records?... Anyhoo...no name dropping...it's the past!!!
