As this feature is all about Dj's and their love for sneaks, what was your first pair? - was it love at 1st slight?
My first pair great question .. I think it was a pair of Puma Californias they used to fit really well with my feet at that age and it was love at first sight, a red pair. I would always go shopping in Brighton & London searching for a limited edition pair of sneakers after saving up all my money from little jobs I had when I was 15. Each month I would treat myself either to a pair of sneakers or a trackie top I had such an amazing collection at the time.

Back in the school days, did you ever get jealous of other kids because of their kicks? - who where they?....what kicks did they have?
Absolutely but I was earning good money for a teenager working every hour I could outside school so I would buy so many clothes & trainers. I was into very bright colours back in the day still am but just a bit more liberal with the really bright ones. I always tried to make sure I had some fancy sneakers I suppose just my competitive edge coming out of me, my son is exactly the same so I did not get to jealous as I felt I had some of the best trainers around.

Are you a box-fresh collector or do you love to wear your favourites? - What is your current top pick?
I do where my favourites but I have a very limited Nike & Adidas ones which I treasure and hardly ever where. Both I bought abroad one in Canada the other in USA. I am into Nike air / max at the moment always on point with design, texture and colour but most of all because I travel the world and they are so comfortable.

Are you loyal to a brand or colourway?.....why?
I am loyal, can't understand why but for me it's just Nike & Adidas after I stopped wearing Puma it was simply just those 2. Love the ZX range from Adidas so many cool designs and great colour connections. And off course the amazing Nike Air max just so comfortable and slick.

Do you have a favourite city when it comes to picking up new kicks?
To be honest there are so many places around the world I love. When I first started buying sneakers it was Carnaby Street in London & the Lanes in Brighton. Now I get to travel and for me there are only 3 places .... Hong Kong a place called Mongkok. Incredible streets & streets of wall 2 wall sneakers, thousands of pairs from really rare or very limited to just simply the latest editions from around the world, this is Heaven for trainer enthusiasts. San Francisco, Haight Street (such a colourful place) is pretty awesome with some really unique stores supplying some wicked pairs and not to expensive. The other is in Miami Washington Street, Collins Avenue down near the beach there are some ridiculous stores with some outrageous pairs ranging from $100 - $5,000 I love it there and have picked up some wicked pairs of Nike Air's that people always ask me where I got them from. Cost wise they were only around the $150/$200 price range. I have about 50 pairs of trainers and have sold a few and chucked away loads over the years but I treasure some of my rare and unique ones but I am not anal and I think they are there to be worn and if they get dirty and wear & tear then I look for new pairs simple as that.
