As this feature is all about Dj's and their love for sneaks, what was your first pair?...Was it love at first sight?
Not really love at first sight I think I had a pair of hi tech or something because my Mum thought that trainers like Adidas and Nike where too expensive as when I was really young I would wreck my trainers so quick.

Back in your school days, did you ever get jealous of other kids because of their kicks?
I used to spend all my money on vinyl so it was a choice for me between more records or trainers so I would always just buy trainers that were on offer. Yeah, I used to love the other kids trainers but I wasn’t really jealous as I loved my vinyl more.

Are you a box-fresh collector or do you love to wear your favourites? What is your current top pick?.
Nah I'm definitely not a box fresh collector in fact I kind of feel silly wearing brand new bright fresh trainers, so I like to wear them in a bit . Recently I have done a lot of events with good sponsors so I have been given a lot of cool trainers free including a wicked pair of limited edition Chinese (not fake) air max. My favorites are Nike Air Max and Adidas Samba.

Are you loyal to a brand or colourway? Why?
My favorite trainers are Nike Air Max for comfort and so many great color schemes to choose from. I like Adidas for retro trainers like Samba. I love black Nike air-max and black Adidas Samba as they look good with anything and I don't want to look like a teenager with bright colored trainers.

Do you have a favourite city when it comes to picking up new kicks?
I have been to some great outlet shops in Shanghai where you can get great deals on trainers like Nike and Adidas and there NOT fakes, Guangdong has some good shops but too many fakes. I never buy fakes as I don't see the point, I buy a certain brand because I want my feet to be comfortable and good trainers last. Also Hong Kong can be good so tops are Shanghai and Hong Kong.
