Adidas Forest Hills Shoe, Sneaker

The Adidas Forest Hills Trainers was originally released in the 70's as a tennis shoe, weighting in at only 250g making them very popular in the world of sport.
Adidas Forest Hills really found its fame in the 1980's when it was worn week in, week out by British football fans aka The Casuals going to the match.
The most desirable colour way was the Yellow sole, with gold stripes.

My dad got me a pair of original Forest Hills when he started taking me to the match on a saturday. All his mates said I was the coolest kid on the terraces.
I still own a pair now, but only the recent re-issues .
Pretty average looking sneak in my opinion....to boring for any decent collabs too.
every colourways works in the Forest Hill, but I do like the Gold & Yellow the best.
always loved the FH but the blue velcro colourway broke my heart...why, why, why!
White & green or white red at sweet too.
the blue/brown nubucks are poor.
Anyone see British Style Genius?
This trainer is all about the 80's soccer casual in the U.K.
We went to european away games with liverpool fc picking up great pairs of trainers.
Forest Hills 82 gold /yellow, Puma Vilas grey , SL 76 navy were all the mutts nutz for the casual when i was a lad with the forest hills the top of the style pile. Unbeatable trainers, infact i was wanting to get a reissue pair and could only see the ones online with a plain dimpled desogned tongue and was after ones with the 2 tennis raquets on. Do they still exist in this design?
