Originally released in 1969 as a Basketball shoe , the Original Colours of the Adidas Superstars were white with navy/red/black 3 stripes
Originally released in 1969 as a Basketball shoe , the Original Colours of the Adidas Superstars were white with navy/red/black 3 stripes.They have been produced in countless colourways since.
The rarest of the superstars are the A Bathing Ape collaboration in 2003.
3 colourways were released and there were only 1,500 pairs in total.
If you can get your hands on a pair of Adidas Superstars, then consider yourself a superstar.
Adidas Campus Shoe, Sneaker

The Adidas Campus is our favourite sneaker of all time, it reminds me of the days I used to skate back in the early 90's.
The originals were produced in the 1970's again as a basketball shoe. It is more famously associated with hip hop, it was the beastie boys sneaker of choice.
Since those days there have been various Campus colourways and collaboration with the NBA. The Adidas Campus is something that you cannot miss.
Adidas Forest Hills Shoe, Sneaker

The Adidas Forest Hills Trainers was originally released in the 70's as a tennis shoe, weighting in at only 250g making them very popular in the world of sport.
Adidas Forest Hills really found its fame in the 1980's when it was worn week in, week out by British football fans aka The Casuals going to the match.
The most desirable colour way was the Yellow sole, with gold stripes.
Adidas Micropacer Shoe, Sneaker

Adidas Micropacer originally a running show and the most high tech sneak ever to hit the market in 1984.
The technology contained in its sole was way ahead of its time. The sensor could calculate distance, average pace and even count calories burnt! Now isn't that cool or what?
The originals were silver & grey. There were a limited edition in black & gold, but the Adidas Micropacer are as rare as rocking horse.....
Adidas Kegler Super Shoe, Sneaker

Adidas Kegler Super used advanced technology in the Kegler with the peg system, this allows the wearer to customize the shoes cushioning.
These timeless bad boys were again released in the 80ís as a multipurpose training shoe.
There was a limited re-issue in 2004 of the Kegler Super, only hundred pairs were made with ostrich leather and gold pegs. So get them before it is too late!
Adidas Adicolor Shoe, Sneaker

The Adidas Adicolor were a basketball shoe released in the 80's, but adidas gave the wearer the opportunity to customise the leather upper.
The original Adicolor came with 8 different coloured marker pens allowing the wearer to go to town on them. More recently they have gone one better with a full sneaker artist set.
Adidas Forum Shoe, Sneaker

The Adidas Forum was the 1st real sneaker to have status; it was released in 1984 and had a massive price tag of a hundred bucks!
Adidas had used some innovate ideas for Forum with the ankle strap and the webbed midsole.
Adidas ZX 500 Shoe, Sneaker

The Adidas ZX500 was a serious running shoe, released in 1986. It had TPU heel counter for stability and an EVA midsole.
The ZX 500 was extremely popular in the 80's and has been re-issued in a wide range of colourways. This is a great shoe if running is your thing.
Nike Cortez Shoe, Sneaker

The Nike Cortez Shoes was released in 1972 when Nike was still called Blue Robin Sports.
The Cortez was a very popular shoe and is still available today right here in SoleHeaven.
It found its fame when Tom Hanks wore these in Forrest Gump.
Nike Waffle Shoe, Sneaker

Nike Waffle was bascially Nike's first production running shoe released in 1974.
It's called the Waffle Trainer because the rubber sole concept was developed by Nike founder Bill Bowerman experimenting with a standard domestic waffle iron.....Mm-mmm Yummy!
Sometimes this shoe is mistaken for the Nike Cortez. So let us get it straight this is the Nike Waffle!
