Universal Alchemy Trailer
Our jaws dropped to the floor after seeing Universal Alchemy’s new trailer!
These guy’s have been breakin all over New York City, picking out some dope landmarks. The fisheye lens almost gives this a skate video quality and really shows off the ability of the crew.
So if you like BBOY, you should be along to the UK BBOY Champioship World Finals this Sunday (OCT 16TH) at Brixton Academy.

Supreme Beings @ The Thrift Store
Our boy Frankie Perez and Supreme Beings crew member Ken Fury have been doing their thing in New York City, and the owner of a local thrift store loved their fresh moves and decided to host a quick Q & A!
This is slightly random, but seeing these guys throwdown in the middle of a store is super dope!
New York Summer Vibes
New York City in the summertime is one of the most vibrant places in the world. As if the rest of the year wasn’t interesting enough in my hometown, there’s just something about the events, people, and overall chilling during the summer in particular that gives a certain rawness to it that so many other people associate NYC with. Being a b-boy in this city I come in heavy contact with the underground dance culture that encompasses it.
And so the approach that my first blog post for SoleHeaven takes is basically a snapshot in a day of hanging out in NYC and the different things I came across. It starts early in the afternoon after an intense b-boy training session in the AM to meet up with one of my Supreme Beings crewmates, Ken Fury. Our first stop is Union Square, a meeting grounds for the city that by just spending a few minutes here you get a great sense of what the overall consciousness of the people is like. Everything from whats trending in gear, to skaters catching a session, to political protesters makes up this park. On this particular time around we came across the street hitters performing a show where as dancers ourselves couldn’t help to jump in as well.

After meeting with another crewmate of ours, Rocism, we decided to kill time in Washington Square park before going to Nemesis’ “More than enough” party. The vibe here was dope as well as we stopped infront of a live jazz band to chat about “The mysteries of the Universe” as we like to say. And in just our short time there we saw a small theatre piece being done on one side of the park, gay couples being engaged in the water fountain (in celebration of the newly passed law here in NY that allows for gay marriage), and I kid you not, flying pole dancers on what seemed to be a mobile stage-bicycle. The city was really off the hook tonight!

At the Poison Lounge the night ended with DJ Ohmega Watts spinning some hip-hop, funk, and rare groove gems. It was a packed night filled with dancers and regular people alike. The summer time vibes was really visible here in everybody having a blast.

I Myself am definitely always looking forward to what the city has to offer and this was just a small piece of whats going on, so stay tuned!
