As part of the launch of our latest mixtape series we remixed “I Know You Got Soul” by Eric B & Rakim.
DJ DSK made the beats, and Mystro flipped the lyrics to celebrate sneakers and streetwear.

Fresh Kicks Required
Its time to introduce you to our latest Mixtape series called Fresh Kicks Required – HYPE!
In this series we team up sneakerhead DJ’s with sneakerhead MC’s to add live hosting and vocals to the mix.
First up is a turntable supremo DJ DSK, and hosting is UK Hip Hop legend Mystro aka Mysdiggi!
Behind the Scenes – I Know You Got Sole Video Shoot
On Tuesday we shot the video for a very special remix we have put together with DJ DSK and Mystro. The track is called ” I Know You Got Sole (Heaven)” and it’s a remix of Eric B & Rakim’s – I Know You Got Soul release from 1987.
Even if you don’t instantly recognise the name, you’ll know the track when you hear it. It’s a true hip-hop classic!
DJ DSK & Mystro have totally reworked the track both musically and lyrically and it pays an honest homage to the OG. The beats, drum rolls and the flipped lyrics are incredible. We’re getting super hyped, and can’t wait to give you a listen.
This is actually a bonus track to accompany an new mixtape series we’re about to launch next week called “Fresh Kicks Required”
“Fresh Kicks Required” is a evolution of the “Kicks N Mixtapes” series, where we now have a sneakerhead host working with a sneakerhead dj to produce the mix. Its adding a live lyrical element to the mixtape. We launch with DJ DSK & Mystro.

September & October are all about the ‘SoleHeaven Triple Banger!’
The Triple Banger is essentially 3 BBOY events we’re involved with in the UK….Round 1 was on September 9th @ The Cut in Newcastle Upon Tyne. We got together with our good buddies at REIGN for their 1st birthday celebrations. We flew in hip-hop & breaks DJ DSK from China for a special 2hr turntablistic set of the highest quality!
No Jokes….DSK is amazing, loads of samples, Juggling and scratching. The capacity club couldn’t believe their ears, it was off the hook!
