The Big Smoke

Last weekend I went to London for ATD x Brassroots (1on1 Bboy Jam) & fun with the homies.

The Jam was ran and coordinated by EdwardSpoons & the music supplied LIVE by the amazing Brassroots (http://www.brassrootsmusic.com/) who are a 9 piece live brass band based in London. It was very refreshing to see this Jam, which originally started as a low-key monthly jam in Wakefield being brought to London & still maintaining its energy & positive vibes. Congratulations Raw-b (BTC) for the win & major shouts to the runner up BenJammin (Ghetlow Pirates) for representing hard on the night.

For the rest of my time in London I spent my time Shopping, drinking & people watching and in relation to my previous entry of what’s was trending in Edinburgh at the moment, London’s trends were completely different

Although Vans are still very popular I noticed a lot of people rocking Vintage Nike’s. I recommend these:

Frank’s Cafe and Campari bar

A rooftop bar situated in Peckham was an amazing way to spend a sunny day in London just relaxing with reasonably priced beer and lots of friendly peoples.

Brick Lane

We went for a walk in Brick Lane, there’s loads of cool vintage shops, food stalls & street stalls selling everything even £1 plain tee’s (HYPE)
